Every guide in this collection was born from the same frustration: searching for Tulum information and finding marketing dressed up as advice. As a family owning a unit at Copal Tulum, we live the area regularly enough to know what is true, what changed, and what nobody tells you. These guides are our answer — long, specific and honest, including when the correct answer does not favor us.

How we write these guides

Three rules govern every guide in this collection. First: real numbers or no numbers — when we quote prices, transfer times or seasons, they come from direct experience in the area and recent verification, not press releases. Second: bias gets disclosed — we are owners at Copal Tulum and we say so in every guide where it matters, rather than performing neutrality. Third: the correct answer wins even when it does not favor us — if the beach zone or the pueblo is the right choice for your trip, the guide says so in plain words.
