Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you submit our inquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, travel dates, party size, room preference and message. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect payment information through this website. Basic technical data (such as anonymized analytics about page visits) may be processed by our hosting provider to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: to answer your inquiry about staying at Copal Tulum — confirming availability, recommending a room category and sharing rates. We may contact you by email about your specific request. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your explicit consent.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-processing service, and arrive at our email inbox. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies. If your inquiry leads to a reservation, the details needed to complete it will be shared with the property's management for the sole purpose of arranging your stay.

Retention and your rights

We keep inquiry emails only as long as needed to assist you and for reasonable record-keeping. You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to the email address in the footer. We will honor such requests promptly. This site is not directed at children under 16.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party ad trackers. Any cookies present are strictly technical, set by our hosting infrastructure to serve pages securely and efficiently. You can browse every page of this site without accepting any marketing tracking, because there is none to accept.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, and inquiry submissions travel encrypted from your browser to the form service and on to our inbox. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we deliberately minimize what we collect — no accounts, no passwords, no payment data — so there is very little to protect beyond the message you choose to send us.

Updates

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date of the latest revision will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Last updated: July 2026.
